DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Work with warehouse team in executing the primary picking and loading responsibilities and perform various warehouse tasks ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Strip delivery trucks of empties and returned product
- Repair damaged cases and return to inventory
- Stack and sort empty containers, kegs, and pallets
- Restock product into picking Locations
- Pick orders and load delivery trucks
- Ensure 100% accuracy on the truck loads
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse
- Assemble customer pick up orders or will calls
- Make emergency deliveries to customers as needed
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of all Equipment
- Replace forklift and all other equipment in recharge station at end of shift
- Assist with receiving product into warehouse
Position RequirementsMENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. And/or operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
