The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects.Duties/Responsibilities:Unloading Containers (up to 600 cartons)Pick, Pack and ship OrdersPerform Cycle CountsPerform an Annual Physical inventoryVerifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signaturesOperate Order picker, Pallet Wrap and Forklift MachineEnsures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.Conducts daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment etc.Follows all rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.Maintains detailed and accurate work records.Collaborates with the manager to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong Computer SkillsAbility to remain organized.Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.Forklift certifiedExperience working with UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship ManagerEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredNo experience required, willing to trainPhysical Requirements:Standing for up to 8hrsAbility to lift up to 50lbs#J-18808-Ljbffr
