Then consider joining us as a Warehouse Picker/Packer at our site in Union City, Georgia.Your RoleAs a Packer, you will report to a Supervisor and work from a pack list to determine which items need to be sent out, ensure items are free of damage, stack items safely and securely in the right packaging, and use carts or manual pallet jacks to move materials throughout the distribution facility. You will work Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.20 per hour.Your ResponsibilitiesInspect, weigh, and label packages; ensure they are free of damageAssemble daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categoriesFill out packing and order forms; seal and label shipping containersUse material handling equipmentFollow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulationsWork overtime and weekends as neededOther responsibilities as assignedYour Skills and ExperiencesHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environmentCan lift up to 50 poundsCan walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate controlled environmentMust be a U.S. citizenGood Reasons to JoinThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
