We have an immediate position available at our Addison, Illinois warehouse. This position is considered a part-time position and is therefore non-benefit eligible, under 30 hours a week and is considered part-time. Applicants must be able to pass both a drug screen and a background check. A valid driver's license is required. Obtaining a DOT and forklift certifications after hire will be required. Job Summary You are the sole point person at this location. It is critical to our business that you are prepared to receive deliveries and can stage material for pickups while understanding the timelines associated with preparation and execution. This position supports supply chain through onsite management of the warehouse including, but not limited to, inventory, pickups, deliveries, material staging, equipment storage, and general housekeeping. Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
    • HTI's standard hours of operation are from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and we are looking for the right candidate that can support a flexible work schedule within those guidelines. Occasional flexibility may be required.
    • The required workday are Monday and Friday, from 7:00am - 4:00pm; for the third day, we prefer Wednesday, but this third date can be flexibility and be arranged in advance, depending on our needs, with the department manager.
    • Dependability is critical. Delivery and pick-ups are contingent upon your availability.
  • Manage local pickups and deliveries as needed.
  • Pick and pack orders including pallet setup, wrapping, labelling, and staging from existing inventory.
  • Receive, sort, and log all materials returning to the warehouse including proper job and project manager labeling and store in designated areas.
    • Document incoming inventory returns and forward to warehouse manager for tracking and accounting.
    • Maintain material inventory including twice monthly physical counts of material returns.
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse through sorting and placement of materials and equipment within space, shelving, racks, and bins.
    • Identify and document aging or obsolete materials.
  • Document vehicles, trucks, trailers, equipment, and machinery entering or leaving warehouse for repairs.
    • Schedule repairs as needed after discussion with Safety & Compliance Officer
    • Assist Safety & Compliance Officer in ensuring vehicles are maintained for DOT certification.
    • Maintenance of company owned equipment onsite, or assistance in coordination with local repair facilities.
    • Maintain servicing and licensure requirements for all equipment (i.e., OSHA, Forklift, etc.)
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of company vehicles as needed.
    • Assist in management of vehicle consumable inventory, ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained to support the field (i.e., report vehicle problem to manger, keep inventory of available consumable products)
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements, Qualifications, & Skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision or direction.
  • Dependability requires excellent time management skills.
  • Excel at operating in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Solid multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize projects utilizing critical thinking.
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
  • Must be able to lift 50-pound sacks of sand and aggregate.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States. HTI uses E-Verify
Position Reports to: Purchasing and Warehouse Manager in Woodinville, Washington Management reserves the right to change duties and responsibilities set forth herein at any time. This position outlines the basic tasks and requirements for the position noted. It is not a comprehensive list of all the job duties for the employee. In addition to the above each employee may be required to cross train for position(s) within the company from time to time.
