Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY Warehouse VAD Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as pulling, counting, detrashing parts, organizing parts for production, and execution of work orders. Hourly rate: $_17.00____ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work orders.
- Ability to count or detrash parts to fulfil work orders.
- Ability to work on special management projects.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet time deadlines.
- Pulling product for work orders.
- Cleanup and put away of product used to fill work orders.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Perform daily functions (kit, pull, pack, ship) when necessary to make sure daily goals are met.
- Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.
- Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet (Heilind/DB Roberts)
- Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.
- Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (ICC Only). Other duties may be assigned.
- Adhere to the principles of “5 S” to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Participate in company sponsored training and process improvement activities.
- Comply with all ICC Policies as defined in the ICC Employee Handbook.

RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years warehouse associate experience preferred.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a US Citizen due to Naval Contractual Agreements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator. Positions in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- This position is exposed to large moving equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, lift trucks, and conveyor belts.
