The Warehouse associate is responsible for accurate material handling (picking/putting) of product and working efficiently to load and unload shipments as necessary.

The start time for this role is 8pm and end time is flexible (shift ends when the job is complete). Days off for this role are Saturday and Wednesday. Starting pay is $15.74 per hour

* **Material Handling (Picking and Palletizing)**

+ Prepare workspace as needed

+ Set up and move RPCs as needed

+ Responsible for accurately and properly picking/putting product in trays. Ensuring that RPCs are packed in an organized fashion to maximize quantity of units per RPC

+ Properly tag and load trucks

+ Breakdown pallets and boxes as needed

* **Unloading (AM) and Loading (PM) Trucks**

+ Unload product from trucks, staging it for picking.

+ Take the temperatures of all inbound products, record all temperatures, document all product that is out of spec and report.

+ In the evenings, load trucks as directed. Communicate effectively with distribution team as needed.

+ Record all temperatures as product is loaded onto the truck, and document all product that is out of spec and report.

* **Forklift and Pallet Jack Use (certified individuals only)**

+ Ensure that the forklift is in good working order and can be operated safely

+ Move product throughout the warehouse for storage, staging and loading

* **Safety and Food Quality Compliance**

+ Complete required safety training on monthly basis

+ Use all equipment necessary for completion of your role in a safe and effective manner

+ Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Best Practices; work environment must be kept clean

+ Ensure food temperature compliance, by checking temperatures as required by standard work, and immediately notifying leadership of issues

+ Successfully complete the mandatory E. A. Sween Quarterly Safety Training sessions for the

purpose of complying with both OSHA regulations and EA Sween policy.

+ Complete HAACP training as necessary

**Requirements:**

* 18 years of age

* Good understanding of basic math skills

* Must be able to read and speak basic English

* Ability to pass applicable criminal background checks and drug screens.

* Previous work in a warehouse fast paced environment

* Previous forklift experience preferred

* Previous picking experience

* Ability to lift 75 lbs.

* Ability to push / pull 250 lbs.

* Ability to work in cold (35 degree) environments for long periods of time

* Must be able to stand/walk, twist, bend, stoop, reach for long periods of time

* Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor.

* Ability to climb in and out of equipment as needed

* Must meet and maintain required productivity per hour
