Position SummaryThis position plays a supporting role in the shipping, receiving, and distribution department. The warehouse associate will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and will perform various warehouse activities.An ideal applicant will be highly skilled, consistently punctual and enjoy working with a variety of skilled individuals who share similar values and goals.General Duties/ResponsibilitiesPromote culture of proper warehouse housekeeping and safety standardsTake necessary actions to correct or stop any unsafe conditions or practices and actively participate in safety initiativesSafe operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks in high pedestrian traffic production areasMaintain a current forklift operator's licensePerform every job safely, for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors, and for the protection of facilities.
