SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONSInventory Control includes, but is not limited to: Receipt of goods, documentation of any lost or missing items from orders, assuring inventory accuracy by monthly cycle counting and annual inventory verification, and encouraging that parts are signed out of the warehouse correctly as much as possible.Warehouse Operations includes, but is not limited to: Keeping aisles clear from clutter and debris to ensure the safety of anyone that enters, working to keep all parts clearly labelled and on the assigned shelf, assisting those that need materials from the warehouse, and keeping the warehouse staffed as much as possible during production hours.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPhysical Inventory; cycle counting of all parts in the warehouse on at least a quarterly basisPickup and deliver parts as requiredAssist other employees with warehouse functions; including finding parts and signing parts out correctly.Maintain warehouse cleanliness; including floors, shelves, and existing inventorySetup and monitor minimum and maximum reorder levels for all partsReceive all parts into warehouse using Infor, assigning bins as neededAssure that FIFO (First In First Out) methods are used to keep inventory items freshKeep aisles, receiving area, annex, and outside warehouse area clear from obstructions and hazardsMaintain MRO vending machine stock levels; alert purchasing agent when MRO vending items are needed for restockingIssue parts to Work Orders as neededAlert Purchasing Agent of any issues in a timely mannerOther job functions as required or directed by purchasing agentQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSGood Driving Record and Current Drivers License; employment contingent upon acceptance as a driver by our company insurance.Understand and follow oral or written instructions issued by supervisorsWell OrganizedComputer LiterateAbility to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over timeAbility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsUnderstand basic mathematical skillsSolid decision-making skillsWork well both independently and as part of a teamMust be able to lift 15-20 pounds on a regular basis, and occasional lifting up to 75lbsAt least 18 years of age.A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.SAFETYFollow all office safety regulationsWhen in one of the mills:Follow all area/machine center specific safety regulationsWear all required personal protective equipment: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc...as requiredDo not enter restricted areasReport immediately to supervisor any piece of equipment that is unsafe or functioning improperlyRequest assistance when a task exceeds individual knowledgeVisually inspect equipment and area before starting/operatingWhenever possible, eliminate unsafe conditions as soon as possibleUse Standard Lockout Procedures when appropriate for machine centersUse proper lifting technique by pushing, pulling and lifting with your legs and not your backNever approach a saw while it is still runningFollow all other safety regulations as set forth by the company
