Our direct marketing services deliver results utilizing our in-house production, design capabilities, data and digital expertise, and fully integrated approach producing timely and cost-efficient direct mail packages for our worldwide clients. 1st Shift - 8AM-4PMJob Summary The Warehouse Clerk plays a critical role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by ensuring accurate and timely handling of inventory. This position involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supplies, and finished goods within the warehouse. The Stock Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing storage areas, and operating material handling equipment to ensure smooth workflow and timely fulfillment of orders. The Warehouse area consists of the following areas or work cells: Warehouse Area - storage of materials including work in progress and release of materials to manufacturing areas. Receiving & Shipping Postal Verification Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Unloads incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and finished goods.
  • Verifies the quantity and quality of received items against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Inspects incoming items for damage or defects.
  • Records received items in inventory management systems.
  • Stores items in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure efficient operations and safety.
  • Rotates stock to prevent expiration or obsolescence.
  • Picks and packs orders accurately and efficiently, following established procedures.
  • Prepares orders for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and palletizing.
  • Loads outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transportation modes.
  • Conducts regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies.
  • Assists in maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and store inventory.
  • Performs daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Adheres to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards.
  • Reports any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution environment, shipping and receiving role, preferably in a printing or manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and picking orders.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Basic math skills for counting and inventory management.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment and use warehouse management systems.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
