What you will do: As our Warehouse Clerk,you will play a crucial role in keeping production moving. You will receive, unpack and stock all incoming freight as well as packing and shipping our products that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources - Water! This position will work in our Madison, WI facility. The job: As part of your daily responsibilities, you will handle incoming materials by receiving, inspecting, unpacking, and stocking them appropriately. You will manage inventory by accurately logging all shipments and shop floor transactions into the computer system. Your role will also involve kitting and staging shop orders for production, carefully packing products to prevent shipping damage, and loading trucks using forklifts and other tools like straps and load bars. Additionally, you'll document all shipments and may be required to deliver products to local customers or pick up items from nearby vendors. Cross training in other areas will be expected to support the production team as needed. The skills you need: To succeed in this role, you must be organized and be able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. You must have a valid driver's license and have previous experience operating a forklift. You must be able to perform physical labor and be able to navigate a Windows-based computer system. You must be able to lift 50 pounds from the floor to the work bench without assistance. A high-school diploma and 1-2 years of warehouse experience are required.
