Summary of Responsibility: The Warehouse Clerk will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to support overall company objectives. What You Will Contribute:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and product descriptions.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish inventory as needed.
  • Process incoming orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
  • Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring all operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize storage space and improve warehouse layout for efficiency.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Enter and update data in the company's warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and other key metrics as required.
  • Provide regular updates to the Warehouse Manager on warehouse performance.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities align with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager and other warehouse staff as needed.
  • Assist in training new warehouse employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment and encourage open communication among warehouse staff.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in an administrative capacity.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
