This role will focus on:
The primary function of this role would perform semi-routine tasks in the shipping, receiving, storing, and picking of materials, supplies, and equipment to fulfil customer orders. This will all be done with Safety as the #1 priority.
What you'll be doing
* Receive and put away incoming material from Watson-Marlow factories and domestic Vendors.
* Verify on incoming material that quantity received matches quantity ordered on purchase order and packing list.
* Pick product in accordance with quantity, part number, batch numbers, and description on pick lists.
* Pack product for shipping in accordance with specified procedures, ensuring minimal potential for damage during shipment.
* Generate UPS/FedEx or Freight shipping documents as required on pick ticket and by freight company.
* Operate material handling equipment as required and if trained to do so.
* Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* High School/Trade School diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
* Ability to lift to 33 lbs.
* Team oriented, well organized and detail oriented.
* Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
* Good oral communication skills to communicate with internal resources.
* Ability to read and speak English fluently.
* Proficient in Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Functional knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.
* Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed.
* Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
* Mobility: Must be able to navigate the warehouse environment, which includes moving between aisles, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating machinery.
* Vision: Ability to distinguish colors and read labels for inventory management.
* Hearing: Ability to hear and respond to verbal instructions and alarms.
