Job Description:
  • Previous High lift or fork lift experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions in English
  • Reliability in attendance and performance
  • Flexibility and the ability to perform multiple task simultaneously

  • Responsible for proper inventory rotation of pallet sin freezer locations
  • Capable of passing certification training for forklift
  • Fulfillment of work orders per manufacturing schedule. Requires issuing materials or returning material in real time basis via JD Edwards AS400 application and RF technology to/from work orders.
  • Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and participate in annual physical inventories.
  • Maintain a clean; neat, and orderly work area.
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety and report anything which may compromise food safety to management.
  • Performs inventory transfers/transactions and adjustments to inventory balances using the ERP application and/or RF technology.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. On a daily basis inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Ensure proper stock rotation via FIFO principles.
  • Communication between departments must be maintained so the supply of materials do not cause any down time in the manufacturing facility.
  • Coordinators act as the owners of the work orders or sales orders ensuring that everything associated with them from start to finish is left with no exceptions.
