Position Overview: Provides overall upkeep and maintenance to small warehouse facility. Orders all parts for upcoming service calls and jobs, tracks inventory. Responsibility is daily, weekly, semi-monthly, monthly tasks of the areas detailed below. Assisting the Operations Manager, Installation Manager, Service Manager, and Controller as needed. Key duties & Responsibilities: Please note the essential functions may vary depending on department size, organizational structure and/or geographic location.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.
  • Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.
  • Acquire supplies or equipment by contacting vendors for the best pricing.
  • Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped
  • Receive inventory and check shipping manifests to ensure all products listed are present and accounted for.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes
  • Track warehouse inventory levels; report to management deficits or surpluses of equipment.
  • Pull inventory parts for upcoming jobs and service tickets based on work orders or service tickets.
  • Present for AM dispatch where technicians may request additional inventory stock or return parts.
  • Transfer and return inventory to/from technician trucks and warehouses utilizing the inventory tracking software.
  • Conduct weekly truck inventory checks to confirm what parts are available within the fleet.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies and adjustments that need to be made; adjust once approval has been given.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and for conformance to specifications and safety standards.
  • Direct inventory handling or moving activities.
  • Explain regulations, policies, or procedures to employees who need to take inventory items.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, or service standards.
  • Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems.
  • Meet with co-workers to communicate work orders or plans.
  • Monitor loading processes to ensure they are performed properly.
  • Monitor work environment to ensure safety or adherence to specifications.
  • Notify others of emergencies, problems, or hazards.
  • Perform spot checks on warehouse and vehicle inventory.
  • Oversee and perform semi-annual inventory checks on all warehouses and trucks.
  • Deliver packages or office supplies to employees that come in via FedEx or UPS.
  • Deliver parts to job sites or other warehouses as needed.
  • Shipping of products to vendors and customers.
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance by scheduling oil changes or other repairs needed.
  • Filing and indexing scanned files
  • Refill water as necessary

Minimum Qualifications: The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department and/or geographic location. Skills and abilities:
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
