Job DescriptionSummary/ObjectiveAs the Warehouse Coordinator you will coordinate order processing, shipping, receiving and inventory control. This position also communicates with external customers and vendors in areas necessary to achieve desired results.The ideal candidate will have mature customer service skills, strong verbal, and written communication skills, and be proficient in Excel and Outlook. Essential Functions including but not limited to: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Work with Superintendents, Project Managers, Main Office
  • Enter and dispatch work orders
  • Call or email for follow-up on certain tasks.
  • Enter accurate and complete notes in the system regarding correspondence with vendors and employees.
  • Act on all incoming calls
  • Acquire necessary materials to fully complete the job
  • Process purchase orders
  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures for all inventory including company tools and vehicles.
  • Work with HR on maintaining driver list and proof of insurance for the fleet.
  • Maintain Toll Tags, Vehicle Registrations
  • Maintaining PPE stock and issue PPE to New Hires
  • Contributes to team effort by partnering with other departments to make inventory readily available for current and future job sites.

  • Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In addition to the office setting while performing other duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can sometimes be loud. Physical Demands This is does require lots of movement. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 4 p.m. Time may vary depending business needs. Travel Job Sites can be located in multiple locations. Required Education and Experience
  • Licenses: Current Driver's License and must have own reliable transportation.
  • High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background screen
  • Preferred Education and Experience
  • One year of administrative experience in the Construction Industry.
