PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1EMPLOYEE SERVICES1215 WEST LEWIS ST.PASCO, WASHINGTON 99301PHONE (509) ###-#### FAX (509) ###-####OPEN TO IN-DISTRICT PERSONNEL ONLYOpen: 10/15/2024 Close: 10/28/2024POSITION: WAREHOUSE/DELIVERY UTILITY PERSON Building 210EFFECTIVE DATE: ImmediatelySALARY: $26.94 - $29.75 per hourSCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, Monday through Wednesday 3 days per week only 7:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m. 260 day - work year QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)*High School Diploma or equivalent*Valid Washington State Driver's License*Applicant must provide a satisfactory 5-year driving abstract*Ability to work safely as a District-wide team*Ability to work unsupervised*Ability to organize and rate priorities and effectively schedule time*Ability to maintain tactful, cooperative and effective working relationships*Willingness to carry out directions as required*Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds unassisted repeatedly*Demonstrated punctuality and an excelent work attendance*Must maintain and respect confidentiality of District records and matters*Knowledge and proven work record of good safety practices*Knowledge of methods and practices of handling supplies, materials or food*Experience in truck driving*Demonstrated accuracy in maintaining record keeping and inventory control*Conduct physical interviews for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses*Maintains vehicles ensuring safe operation of vehicle*Possess or ability to obtain OSHA forklift certificationQUALIFICATIONS:DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)*In-District warehouse experience*Bilingual/Biliterate English/Spanish*CDL driver's licenseGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The Warehouse/Delivery Utility Person receives, stores, issues and accounts for supplies and equipment received in the School District Warehouse and does related work as required. The Warehouse/Delivery Utility Person drives a truck in picking up and delivering supplies, materials, mail and/or food for all the buildings in the District. Completes work orders as assigned and will assist in transporting needed items and equipment for District events and functions.
