Primary Purpose:As the ORS NASCO Department Manager - Operations, Your primary responsibility will be supporting the General Manager in leading and Supervising all operational functions. You will manage multiple priorities in a Distribution Center. You will lead a diverse group of team members, which will include the Inbound Team, Outbound Team, and Inventory Control. You will interact with other internal departments such as Sales, Customer Care, and Operational Support, in addition to external customer support and interactions. You will provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire distribution process of Receiving, Put away,order fulfillment, and Shipping,You will oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain and improve service quality, while having the keen ability to research and resolve root cause issues.Responsibilities:•Manages all aspects of the location to include accurate on time order fulfillment and shipping, on time receiving, manage working capital (as it relates to Operations), inventory and quality management systems, and Inbound Operations.•Management responsibility of a location that includes a warehouse management system and Enterprise Resource Planning System•Maintains a safe, secure and inclusive workplace. •Manages, coaches, mentors, hires and trains employees. This also includes performance management.•Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and audit standards•Drives efficiencies within the facility using LEAN methodologies.•Maintains facility tour-ready standards.•Ensures preventative maintenance of the facility and all equipment (e.g. material handling equipment, wire cutting machines, racking systems, warehouse infrastructure).Qualifications:•Bachelor's Degree required•5+ years' operations experience, specifically in Distribution center facilities required•Experience managing a group or team of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff•Knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Teams, Power Point, and Outlook)•Ability to effectively communicate in both group and individual settings•5+ years experience of utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and ERP Systems.Notice to all applicants: ORS Nasco is a drug-free workplace.
