Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Warehouse Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, building a culture of safety, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in warehouse management, logistics and/or supply chain management who are passionate about driving continuous improvement and delivering results-driven performance.Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including order selection, receiving, and inventory management of foodservice products.Direct supervision of 100+ associates, including Warehouse Managers and Supervisors, covering three different shifts.Manage and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient use of resources.Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, improve inventory management, and reduce costs.Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.Execute management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews, and/or terminations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Implement processes to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.Manage and report on warehouse performance metrics to senior management.Lead safety initiatives within the department to attain corporate safety KPI's.
