Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk to personnel and damage to inventory and equipment. Use equipment to move materials within the plant. Replenish pick slots. Demonstrate safe work practices to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all company and OSHA safety regulations. Load finished product and custom orders onto trailers in the correct sequence and according to loading requirements, while ensuring an accurate piece count. Operate a wrapping machine to wrap finished orders. Adhere to lockout-tagout procedures. Place proper documentation on pallets. Read the truck schedule and follow instructions to determine which materials or trucks to be moved. Perform tasks as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Work as a member of the warehouse team by communicating information to coworkers on time to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse. Perform daily inspection checks on forklifts.
