The Opportunity

We are seeking a Warehouse Driver/Helper. Must have attention to detail, be customer service-oriented and work well with others. This position needs a self-motivated team player who can be an active part of our warehouse team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivers parts orders to customer locations and/or job sites
  • Supports the shipping, receiving & stocking of warehouse inventory
  • Warehouse and facilities maintenance and housekeeping
  • Supporting existing warehouse staff in a team-based environment while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times
  • Assists with loading and unloading shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Receives and processes customer orders while responding to customers inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services
  • Records changes in inventory by completing paperwork and updating data base as necessary
  • Maintains supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determines needed supplies in warehouse
  • Determines best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and company adherence to policies
Qualifications:

The Required Profile

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous warehouse driver experience preferred
  • Previous warehouse and driving experience working in the HVAC or construction industry a plus
  • Familiarity with HVAC components a plus
  • Moderate computer skills in MS 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and be a minimum of 25 years old for insurance purposes
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and perform these duties safely and efficiently
  • Must be forklift certified with current certification

Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Environmental Requirements

Will be required to drive a company vehicle for deliveries and work in a warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
