HTC Commercial Flooring is looking for an effective warehouse manager assistant to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productive targets are achieved and that all warehousing processes are running smoothly and promptly. - This is a full-time position, not remote, with benefits. - Must be 25 years or older - Must have a Class-C license or willing to get one - 401k - Health insurance - Paid Vacation Responsibilities: - Manage a team of delivery drivers and warehouse manager in the daily warehouse operations. - Willing to be trained, review policies, processes, and procedures that improve quality, productivity, and efficiency while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. - Accountable for building security, equipment, and safety procedures. - Safely operate and supervise associates operating warehouse equipment including sit-down forklift, grinders, pickers, etc. - stay within annual budget Skills: - Mechanically inclined. Can fix, clean, and take care of all our mechanical equipment. - Very organized, stays on track, and keeps track of inventory. - Promoting and ensuring safety as a priority. - Ensure timely shipping and receiving. - Staging, loading, and unloading materials. - Interacting with all internal and external customers. - Able to read shop tickets, know what projects are going on and where they are. - Prior flooring covering (and/or floor covering materials handling) experience is a plus. - Forklift experience. - Prior driving history. - Clean driving history. - Valid Drivers license. - Proven excellent time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintain a high attention to detail. - Proven strong written and verbal communication skills.
