Position Summary: Works day-to-day on delivery of products and supplies to various work sites in and around Ohio. Creates a positive work environment and represents TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Delivers products, supplies and other items to jobsites daily and in a timely manner.
- Unloads items delivered to jobsites or returned to the warehouse.
- Always focuses on safety and safety practices. Abides by all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Drives the company vehicles in a courteous and professional manner.
- Reloads the truck for the next day's run.
- Helps pull items for orders when needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2 years prior driving experience with straight and semi trucks.
- Stable work history
- CDL License endorsement A for straight trucks and semi-trucks.
- HAZMAT endorsement
Education:
- High School or GED Equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Able to pass the DOT physical.
- Able to climb in and out of truck.
- Lift items weighing up to 60lbs.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good knowledge of Ohio and cities.
- Knowledge of all DOT regulations.
