Pay Range: $21-$22 American Industrial Corporation is looking for a
Warehouse Generalist to join our team in
Indianapolis, IN! As a
Warehouse Generalist you will be responsible for selecting, packing, and loading items from the warehouse for daily shipping safely, and handling shipping/receiving processes with accuracy and professionalism. It also includes daily warehouse duties, warehouse upkeep and maintenance, and using shipping software for scheduling and arranging shipments.
What You'll Do:
- Selecting items from warehouse per customer order and packing/loading on truck, loose or palletized, for LTL or Small Parcel Shipping shipping/receiving.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to handle large and awkward sized items, stack, load and unload throughout business day
- Willingness to handle products when loading or offloading by hand as needed.
- Professional communication and representation to customer and public of OTC
- Operates pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials when working in an OTC Warehouse.
- Ability to operate stretch wrap banders.
- Unload, examine orders for accuracy and quality.
- Work in a Warehouse role and perform Warehouse duties daily. Loading/Unloading Truckload or Less than Truckload Orders. Small Parcel Packaging, etc.
- Work with Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager and other Carrier Portals to schedule and arrange shipments
- Accurately pick orders from Warehouse
- Accurately receive and put away incoming products
What You'll Need: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good time management skills.
- Basic math skills and/or aptitude.
- Some computer experience and aptitude.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test
- Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors.
