Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking two (2x) Warehouse Janitors for the Night Shift at our depot in Highland Park. Essential Duties & Responsibilities As a Warehouse Janitor, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse, parking lot, and other areas as assigned. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Sweeping and scrubbing the warehouse floor and aisles within pick modules / work areas
- Proper operation and cleaning of any equipment (including commercial cleaning equipment)
- Emptying waist bins into the compactors and reporting issues if and when necessary
The Warehouse Janitor will also be mitigating safety hazards and maximizing salvage potential in regard to warehouse breakage. This includes, but is not limited to: separating, sorting and salvaging broken product and thoroughly & timely addressing any slip / trip hazards. Other duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Following all operational protocols for material handling equipment when and where it is applicable
- Assisting with repacking or item changes as directed
- Performing the correct inventory transactions if and when required
This position may serve as back up for the warehouse workers as needed. These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Picking of product for distribution
- Loading product onto delivery trucks
- Floating for zones / covering for breaks
Work Environment & Physical Demands The Night Janitor position operates in a warehouse environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position is also very active and must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day while lifting, stacking, moving and rotating with items, without handles, that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force. This position also requires operating warehouse equipment and regularly to read, write and communicate in English. Work Schedule The Warehouse Janitor is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday starting around 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. Fridays may be required as schedule demands. Pay & Benefits

Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong desire to clean and organize.
- Ability to be active and on your feet for an entire shift.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 55 lbs., and push or pull up to 100 lbs.

- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
- Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
- Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
- Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including a full Background Check, 10-Panel Drug Test, Physical Evaluation, and Agility Test
