  • Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
  • Proven communications skills
  • including familiarity with MS Word and Outlook
  • Experience with inventory management; including basic math skills
  • Experience in a related roll in a manufacturing environment (2 years minimum)
  • Prefer experience working with an ERP system for inventory management and control
  • Demonstrated positive leadership skills
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds with some regularity; more on occasion with help.
  • Physical ability to work in awkward positions such as kneeling, bending, and overhead
  • Ability to climb and work from a ladder
  • Ability to operate various shop tools (including power and manually operated)
  • Trained and certified in safe forklift operation
  • Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearly
Requirements
  • Unload raw materials from truck
  • Move raw materials to Material Control for storage
  • Move waste from area to dumpsters
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product received in, or sent out to the floor
  • Safe operation of forklift, power jacks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Work within our Epicor system for accurate tracking and recording of all part movement; including working with the purchasing department for order and reorder points, receiving product in, issuing out to the production departments and stocking and shipping completed product
  • Complete daily logs/paperwork
  • Fill material requests from the floor in a timely manner
  • Communicate with departments and Supervisors to ensure floor is adequately stocked with parts
  • Clean and maintain work area
