BLOX is both service and product that includes architecture, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and construction. Job Description The Material Handler position is responsible for safely moving inventory within the warehouse, loading trucks according to written specifications, and unloading trucks. The Material Handler uses overhead cranes and forklifts to move steel coils, sheet, plate, and parts. In addition, the Handler may be called upon for packing finished product, assisting machine operators and performing other duties within the warehouse, as needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fork lift operation
- Cleaning parts
- Load outgoing trucks
- Pull stock
- General material handling or warehouse work
- Yard Dog operation
- Any other activity that might be required of the employee at any given time
- Ability to lift 5lbs up to 25lbs
- Constant walking all day
