Shift(s): Part Time:1st Shift Mon, Wed-Fri 6:00am- 12:30 pmLocation: Monroe, OH 45050SummaryThe Pallet Sorter is responsible for hand sorting pallets to grade while ensuring all trash and debris is removed from pallets prior to returning to customer. Responsibilities also include achieving expectedproduction requirements while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.All employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug test, in accordance to local and state laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesHand stacking pallets to appropriate heights, following inventory control instructionsLoading and unloading materials from trailers by handMoving pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityChecking loads to make sure they are secureExamining products to verify conformance to quality standardsAbility to utilize yard management systems to coordinate trailers movesAbility to complete all production paperwork with accuracyCommunicates directly with Shift Lead or On-Site ManagerAbility to maintain Relogistics efficiency and performance standards of productionMust maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standardsMust be accountable for achieving Relogistics results while maintaining Relogistics Core Values and Safety StandardsEducation and/or ExperienceGood math, language and reading skills with attention to detail along with basic computer skillsHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for keeping recordsUnderstanding that overtime may be required and is considered mandatoryPrevious experience with lumber, welding, construction, carpentry, roofing, landscaping is strongly preferredThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
