Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Laborer with hand tool experience to help disassemble a conveyor belt system. Responsibilities include equipment dismantling, organizing, inventory management, and general warehouse duties. Hand tool experience and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble conveyor belt systems, including motors, rollers, belts, and structural components, using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and hammers.
Safely and efficiently break down conveyor parts for storage, transport, or disposal, following all safety procedures.
Maintain an organized work area and properly label and store disassembled parts.
Assist with other warehouse duties, including loading/unloading trucks, managing inventory, and packaging shipments.
Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to transport parts and materials within the warehouse.
Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment to supervisors.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment while performing tasks.
Provide support to other team members as needed for various warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial setting, particularly with disassembly of mechanical systems.
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and other tools for mechanical disassembly.
Basic mechanical aptitude with an understanding of conveyor systems (preferred but not required).
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
