Warehouse Laborer
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the trial center supervisor
- Load and unload materials onsite
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
- Clearly and respectfully communicate with supervisors and coworkers
- Coordinate with trial supervisor/ after sales supervisor for incoming and outgoing trial materials, keeping incoming and outgoing trial material labeled and organized.
- Ensure the demonstration center is clean and organized daily, which includes trash removal, cutting up wooden crates, floor cleaning, and ensuring dumpster area is clean. Keeping the outside area clean.
- Assist warehouse staff with motor freight at supervisor and after sales manager direction.
- Cleaning parts that arrive at ENA from customers in the oven along with trial machine parts.
- Inspecting and writing reports for oven cleaning and placing them in the trial report drop folder.
- Loading and unloading trucks using the fork truck (If certified).
- Loading machines, cleaning machines and trial equipment.
- Keeping stock of trail material consumables.
Requirements
- Customer Center employee must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential. Some tools and machines are computerized, requiring technical knowledge to use. Computer skills, estimating skills, and the ability to communicate is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
- Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
