Key Warehouse Lead Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the day-to-day warehouse operations to include planning and directing distribution activities and deliveries
- Work towards continuous improvement to increase the efficiency of the warehouse operation
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders as needed
- Assist in receiving inventory and inventory control activities, including physical and cycle counts
- Track distribution and maintenance records
- Provide support in resolving customer or team issues as they arise
- Track general expenses of in/out freight and truck maintenance records.
- Organize and coordinate deliveries
- Dispatch delivery trucks to local customer locations and/or other TruckPro stores.
- Ensure that all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules
- Assist with monitoring and reconciling brake core returns
- Manage the returns process for parts returning to the store and the manufacturer
- Promote a safe and organized work environment
Successful Warehouse Lead Candidates Will Have:
- One year of related Warehouse or Distribution Lead experience required
- Experience working as a Route Delivery driver
- Experience dispatching local deliveries
- Excellent communication (oral & written)
- Customer service mindset
- Teamwork orientation
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification
- Heavy-duty truck or automotive parts knowledge, preferred
