Job Description:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Lead is to provide support to a fast-paced Warehouse Team. A successful Warehouse Lead will be able to be a contributor to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff. Duties/Responsibilities:•Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and document any discrepancies. Ensure all products are in good condition and report any damages or issues.•Storage and Organization: Safely and efficiently store products in designated areas, optimizing space utilization and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.•Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.•Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.•Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.•Supervision and Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.•Order Fulfillment: Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.   • Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements
  • Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
  • Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
