This position provides leadership for warehouse staff related to daily workflow.Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm (occasional overtime and weekends may be required)Rate: $28.42/hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure accurate inventory accounting; assisting with Monthly and Quarterly inventories.Possess thorough knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and related duties, executing with excellence.Possess thorough knowledge of how the warehouse department and shipping & receiving operate.Hold mastery of all job functions in the warehousing area.Handle all equipment and product efficiently and safely.Train newer employees as appropriate.Proactively communicate warehouse issues involving deficiencies to members of the management team as needed.Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and data entry in a timely manner.Consistently meet or exceed production goals.Schedule and or direct employees as directed by appropriately addressing workflow needs.Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, and immediately report any potential food safety issues to management.Assist Plant Manager and Human Capital with timekeeping as needed.Monitor open cooler storage racks and storage requirements. (applies to Jerome only)Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.Ensure that shipping and receiving schedule is accurate, delegating additional resource needs as appropriate.Work with Cheese Technical Manager on proper barrel rotation and pulling samples for grading as directed. (Weyauwega only)Work with Automation on proper procedures in regard to the ASRS. (Little Chute only)Effectively communicate production undergrade as dictated by daily records and ensure that all relevant parties are informed.Manage undergrade inventory on hand, and work as liaison between the facility and sales to ensure that volume moves efficiently to the customer.Manage the MSS tasks for the coolers/warehouse, and delegate responsibilities as necessary. (Weyauwega only)Manage the SAP tasks for the ASRS/warehouse, and delegate responsibilities as necessary.Match bills of lading to paper work, container numbers and seal trucks.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.Safety ProtocolStop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.Correct or report any observed safety hazards.Support safety policies and programs.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.What You Need to Join Our Team:Qualifications:Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience Required:Minimum three (3) years Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse experience required.SAP/Automated system experience preferred.Sit down/Standup Forklift operation experience preferred.Certification/Licensure Required:Forklift certification required.Reach truck and pallet jack certification required.Yard dog certification required.Skills Required:Able to provide current, direct, complete, and “actionable” feedback to others, identifying issues and taking appropriate action.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.); interview to gather information; advise others on alternatives/options; coach and counsel others; read, understand and explain technical data.Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.Results driven, bottom-line oriented, strives to exceed goals, and motivates self and others to achieve positive outcomes.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
