DescriptionJob Title:Warehouse LeadSchedule: Full TimeLocation: Westminster, COIndustry: Food ManufacturingFLSA Status: Hourly - Non-ExemptReports To:Warehouse SupervisorPosition Summary: Warehouse Lead is responsible for maintaining inventory by receiving, storing, and shipping products according to established procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, Shipping, Internal Picking, Returns, Cycle Count
  • Adhering to FIFO standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food Safety Level 2 compliance standards as trained upon annually.
  • Ensure all plant personnel are operating in compliance with plant procedures. Report any non-compliance immediately to upper management.
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to drive forklift, and obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Able to stand for 8 hours at a time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact in a positive way with all personnel within the organization and customers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to think outside of the box and use innovative methods to solve problems.
  • Background in warehouse and inventory control fundamentals.
Back Up: Warehouse Manager Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food (SQF) for Food Manufacturing standards, FDA compliance, FSMA compliance, GFCO certification, Organic certification, GMP Program, Allergen Program, and other food safety programs; as trained upon initial hire and annually.
