We have a first shift opportunity for a Warehouse Loader at our St. Albans Warehouse.
Position will be Monday - Friday, typically 9am-5pm, dependent upon business need. Schedule flexibility when needed is appreciated to help meet changing business needs and for coverage during vacations and other planned / unplanned absences.
What you'll be doing:
A. Safely operate a forklift and/or electric pallet jack.
B. Load product into and out of the warehouse.
C. Maintain accurate inventory of all items.
D. Assist warehouse personnel in the completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
E. Responsible for performing all work-related tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices by following the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF Program. This includes the requirement to immediately report any and all food safety issues and incidents to your Supervisor or designate.
F. This position requires the understanding of the role of the SQF Practitioner in ensuring that food safety decisions are made using a risk-based approach. All food safety issues and incidents are to be reported to the QA Department, either directly from the employee or by the Supervisor. Guidance in both areas will be provided.
