Job Summary:

Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems & Services, Americas (CSS) business provides a wide range of quality compression technologies and services globally. We have an opportunity for a transformational Warehousing Logistics Engineer to executive for our largest manufacturing site

Responsibility:

o Developing layouts for warehousing systems that optimize space utilization and streamline processes. o Analyzing and recommending improvements in logistics operations, systems, and processes.

o Motivate and guide team in environmental health and safety, quality, fulfillment, cost, cash and employee engagement objectives

o Involvement in defining capital needs for responsible area

o Develops team leads and employees. Training staff on new systems and technology relevant to logistics and warehousing

o Evaluates multiple forecast and order input and overlays these against production, work orders and capacities to understand what work will be done where

Basic Qualifications

o Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, logistics, supply chain management or related field

o Must have at least 5-7 years' experience in Supervision, Materials Management, preferably in industrial industry

o Problem solving capabilities and data analysis required. Strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.

o Has to be able to clearly and concisely deliver instructions to the production team. Must also be able to deal with team-management issues quickly and effectively.

o High proficiency in Excel

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

* Fully site based 100% onsite in Mocksville, NC.

Key Competencies:

o Devises action plans for non-conforming issues

o Acts as an extension to Management in their respective department

o Assisting in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse management systems o Conducting time and motion studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.

o Collaborating with other departments to ensure that logistics considerations are integrated into overall operational strategies.

o Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
