The mission is to lead the transformation of CTI & Polycold logistics & warehousing as we continue the integration into Edwards Vacuum. This role is responsible for all warehousing activities to support customer deliveries along with manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, and process driven. The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and bring experience implementing and championing standard processes and best practices to help Product Company Chelmsford scale for growth. The right candidate will have demonstrated competency using ERP systems to perform receiving, inventory management, reverse logistics and shipping both domestic and international. This person will be a key member supporting manufacturing operations in Mexico, Malaysia, and the Service & Customer Centers globally. The Logistics Manager will provide leadership to the Product Company logistics team and manage all inbound and outbound shipment activity, as well as quality management, performance measurements and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities Include:

* Ensure workplace safety and quality practices are core behaviors within the team.

* Transition & manage ERP and warhouse operations for our move to a new permanent state-of-the-art warehouse in Haverhill MA in summer 2022.

* Develop associates in their area of responsibilty, monitoring performance and providing feedback. Identify training and development needs and particpate in hiring, promotions, and coaching.

* Manage and report operational KPIs for on-time delivery, receiving and inventory accuracy.

* Identify, lead and implement productivity and cost reduction improvement initiatives in each area: warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, and international/domestic shipping.

* Demonstrated knowlege and experience managing international shipment regulations for import and export.

* Asume the lead role in all warehouse process development intitives and drive actions through structured tracking to ensure timely implementation in our new warehouse facility in Haverhill MA.

* Manage inventory accuracy; ensure daily cycle counts are achieved and lead reporting analysis of count discrepacies to optimize inventory in a multi-location environment.

* Partner & develop proactive relationships with peers, logistics service suppliers and internal/external customers.

* Experience utilizing and maintining warehouse capital equipment including fork lifts/trucks, bendi etc.

Desired Background Includes:

* Associate degree is required with at least five years of professional work experience in warehouse operations, logistics, domestic and international shipping, receiving, inventory management and import-export operations.

* Firm grasp of shipping HAZMAT Dangerous Goods.

* Must demonstrate a strong compliance mindset and can work collaboratively and cross functionally in team settings.

* Strong team player, enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly personality, pleasant communication manner, able to build effective working relationships.

* Skilled in utilizing Office 365 particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI & Visio. Working knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems. Oracle & SAP a PLUS.

* Ability to manage, coach and provide or facilitate training for team members.

* Flexible approach, able to cope with a constantly changing environment & priorities.

* Able to work under pressure and handle variable workloads.

* Good communicator with the ability to work with as well as create and deliver presentations to people at all levels.

* Show a concern for order by being accountable and personally well organized.
