For more information, please visit and .Position Overview: Responsible for providing the leadership to develop the department's short-term and long-term strategies to enable the company to achieve those goals. Oversees the processing for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages are processed through the ERP system and warehouse sites safely and efficiently. The LM will be responsible for establishing standard work, goals, and initiatives for the logistics team with the support of the Vice President of Supply Chain.Key Responsibilities: Create and manage the logistics budget; including but not limited to warehousing, labor, and freight.Monitor standard warehousing procedures such as receiving, picking, packing, wrapping, and preparing shipping documents for efficiency and quality of throughput.Establish and maintain transportation relationships including negotiating contracts that create strong and mutually beneficial partnerships that result in cost savings.Ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer and PCI compliance.Assist in managing facilities such as warehouses, shipping docks, and 3PL storage lots to ensure they are safe and operational.Communicate and connect with both executives and warehouse employees and balance the demands of each.Work with supply chain management in the design of the lean factory and the pursuit of value stream improvements. Other Important Responsibilities: Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant project situations.Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programs.Handle related email correspondence.Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment.Education Certifications: High School Education a must. Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Logistics or related field preferred.Experience managing teams of full-time and part-time employees.Experience in analyzing metrics and data-driven decision-making.Proven ability to design and execute a supply chain strategy.Proven ability to consistently deliver on KPIs.Technical and applied understanding of logistics software and ERP systems.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).Detail-oriented.Multitasking capabilities.Experience with LEAN is a plus. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to lift 20 lbs.Must be able to sustain office work for 8+ hours per day including the following: Sitting in an office chair.Typing.Reaching for the telephone.Standing at office equipment.Hearing for phone use.Sight for computer use. Must be able to sustain factory work as needed including the following: Standing at machinery.Reaching and pulling to operate machinery.Sight for machinery operation.Walking through shop.
