We are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist at our corporate office and warehouse center in Big Lake, MN. Details:

This is an in person full time position in Big Lake, MN. Your typical week with us will be approximate hours of 9 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday (flexibility to stay when orders may be delayed or come in early are needed). What you can expect in this role:

  • Completing & attending to all shipping orders – both incoming & outgoing – including temperature-controlled shipments.
  • Organizing & maintaining inventory systems.
  • Responsible for warehouse workflow, standards, and compliance. Because we are a health care company, FDA, and USDA compliance, as needed, and familiarity with these standards.
  • Flexibility is required at times to meet the needs of incoming shipments.
  • Ability to work with shipping and logistics vendors and agents to manage the shipping process effectively and efficiently in terms of timing and costs.
  • Possess the skill set that demonstrates your ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Perform general upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse and office areas.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience with domestic and international shipping
  • Management experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with shipping warehouse compliance management preferred
  • Logistics experience - beginning to end - including vendor management, is preferred
  • Familiarity with UPS WorldShip and other carriers is preferred
  • Experience with FDA and USDA shipping compliance is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently to successfully complete business outcomes
  • Strong organization skills and great attention to detail
  • Must have strong work ethic and integrity
  • Committed professional with the ability to succeed in an often fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take direction while bringing your own personal style to the table in a team environment
  • Possesses great communication skills required:
  • Basic professional writing skills
  • Effective and professional verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly and professionally problem-solve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.
  • Must be able to up to lift 50 lbs. as needed
  • Ability to perform general warehouse duties – use of dolly, lifting, movement of goods, etc – as needed
