Job Overview:
This position oversees the daily activities of logistics employees, including truck loaders and finished goods staging personnel, with a focus on developing their skills and driving efficiency. As a strategic thinker, the Warehouse Logistics Supervisor is responsible for fleet maintenance, finding cost-effective solutions, and collaborating with the Supply Chain Manager on optimizing logistics systems. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role requires a proactive approach to operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination, loading, and routing of all finished goods deliveries to and from customers.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to evaluate current logistics practices, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to loading and staging.
- Propose and implement improvements to inventory storage methods, equipment usage, and procedures, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Design and deliver training programs to ensure loaders and stagers are working safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with Production Supervisors to expedite products, minimizing loading delays and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Partner with Customer Service to streamline processes and enhance loading accuracy, reducing complexity in logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws while overseeing the logistics team.
- Handle additional duties as needed to support the overall success of the logistics department.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of shipping, delivery, inventory, and replenishment processes, with the ability to implement effective record-keeping systems for tracking efficiency and addressing quality issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintenance procedures for vehicles and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, with a positive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing irregular hours and working in environments with moving machinery and objects.
- Exposure to intermittent noise, dust, and moderate temperature fluctuations in the warehouse environment.
