* Manages a group of employees focused ona specific area within Supply Chain.

* Develops work plans for maintaining inventory targets, supplier networks, and programs.

* Establishes and reports financial measures and targets.

* Develops strategic relationships/partnerships with high-quality suppliers.

* Analyzes overall supply and demand issues.

* May plan and purchase goods and services.

* May be required to manage and negotiate with outside suppliers for raw materials and/or various contract services.

* Sets and measures the success of annual cost savings and/or cost avoidance targets.

* Ensures programs are in compliance with SOPs.

* Maintains compliance with ISO 9000 and cGMP requirements, and all Safety Programs. Recommends global supply chain strategies.

* Provides guidance and direction to subordinates on work assignments and projects. Work is subject to limited review.

* Implements and administers policies and procedures that typically affect individual subordinate employees

* Recommends modifications to operate policies and procedures

* Performs work and makes decisions that require the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct and the consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion

* Accomplishes tasks primarily through direct supervision of non-exempt and entry-level exempt employees

* Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to achieve results might cause delays in program schedules resulting in the allocation of additional time and resources and increased costs

* Responds to audit observations and participates in developing Corrective and Preventative Actions.

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Bachelors and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

* 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry

* Experience working in a cGMP environment preferred

* Strong knowledge of supply chain

* Proficient in MS Office and MRP

* Proficient in SAP

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Strong leadership and managerial skills
