What you will do- Responsible for executing the strategy with the border warehouses.
- Responsible for coordinating efforts of team members and warehouses to assure a constant flow at the US-MX border.
- Responsible for eliminating waste and streamline process at the border using continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Finance teams to increase efficiency, optimize the end-to-end supply chain, and reduce cost within the network.
- Ensure warehouse and its systems are operating efficiently.
How you will do it- Assurance of consistent flow of materials northbound and southbound.
- Proactively detect and resolve possible disruptions at the border.
- Continiously look for efficiencies in the process by removing waste in the processes.
- Assure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Create a line of communication with local regulators (PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, Customs at Colombia, Nuevo Laredo and Cd Juarez)
- Liaise with regional (US and MX) stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
What we look forRequired - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, project management or related field.
- +5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and warehouse management.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma mindset.
- Experience with WMS (warehousing management systems)
- Strong problem-solving skills, identifying problems, evaluating solutions, and implementing the best action.
Preferred - Strong in communicating data points quickly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
