**What You Will Do:**

The Warehouse Shop Manager is responsible for receiving, shipping and distribution functions of the warehouse. This individual will report directly to the area manager and manages the daily operations of the warehouse including warehouse management and operational business metrics.

* Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

* Identify needs and organize and coordinate efficient operation of location warehouse, shipping and transportation

* Organize, motivate and direct work activities of Warehouse Personnel and Truck Drivers

* Identify and manage workflow and proper work assignments of subordinates

* Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

* Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies

* Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders

* Overseeing stock control and processing orders

* Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met

* Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's

* Keeping stock control systems up to date

* Planning future capacity requirements

* Training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress

* Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met

* Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

* Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

* Other duties as required.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.

* Valid driver's license in state of residence required.

* 3+ years of warehouse/pump shop experience required

* 3+ years of management experience highly preferred

* Operational knowledge & experience with warehouse operations, DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA, Forklift certification and training, shipping and receiving, distribution, documentation, and compliance

* Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel

* Strong work ethic and team player

* High degree of professionalism

* Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills

* Ability to communicate with various levels of management

* Decision-making, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills

* Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

* Basic math and analytical skills

* Solid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes

* Ability to read and interpret blue prints and manufacturing documents

* Must be self-motivated and disciplined to work autonomously with minimal supervision

* Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks

* Good written and oral communications skills

* Good interpersonal skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred

**Physical Demands:**

* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

* Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

* The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

* The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
