US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX•brand for the construction market, TRUFAST•for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls•for exterior building envelopes and facades. The Warehouse Manager plans, coordinates, and installs processes for material movements to ensure customers receive their orders in good condition, complete and on schedule. The warehouse includes receipts, shipments, and movements through alternative locations for both the TRUFAST and SPAX brands. This requires providing direction to the team in material movement, storage, handling, receiving, processing shipments and resolving customer complaints.Our benefits include:

Essential Responsibilities:Warehouse Responsibilities
  • Manage all personnel in warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations and maintaining work records.
  • Manage staffing plans and effective planning for staffing requirements.
  • Ensure cross functionality of team and develop robust training systems and processes for robust flexibility.
  • Maintain shipping deadlines with accuracy at high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain internal shipment receipts and putaways of received goods.
  • Lead and drive for improvement of department operational process and communications.
  • Oversee outbound trucking operations and internal trucking needs between company locations, 3rd party warehouses and logistics partners.
  • Develop, plan and execute future growth strategies for warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Lead teams to execution of developed business strategies and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain outside packing (preassembly) picking/shipping and reporting documentation.
  • Inventory Management
  • Ensure ERP system inventory and transaction accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain warehousing, distribution, and material flow strategies.
  • Utilize product/customer specific repackaging needs to meet delivery requirements.
  • Create repacking production orders and work with packaging scheduling to complete.
  • Requisition warehouse supplies and control spend appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain effective cycle counting processes and physical inventories to control accuracy of inventories.
  • Create and drive actionable improvements on inventory inaccuracies.
  • Safety & Training
  • Lead and drive accountability for all safety related activities.
  • Maintain associate training and update where appropriate.
  • Increase job knowledge of leadership, shipping and receiving concept through continual education.
  • Identify and drive opportunity for process development to industry best practices.
  • Assist with specific training programs, audits, and safety adherence.

    • Reports to Supply Chain Manager and has direct supervision over Warehousing Operations as well as outside PA and 3rd party warehousing.
    Position Requirements Experience:
    • 5+ years comparable warehouse and distribution experience
    • SAP warehousing and shipping experience a plus
    Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
    Required Skills/Competencies:
    • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
    • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Leadership skills to guide team to achieve business results, and develop team members for long-term success.
    • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong, dedicated work ethic.
    • Analytical (ability to analyze basic quantitative, qualitative and process problems).
    • Strategic mindset to develop long-term objectives of the business and execute.
    • Lead by example on all fronts with a strong emphasis on safety culture.
    • Must have strong training skills and provide hands-on demonstration to operators.
    • Ability to attain a forklift operating license and operate effectively.
    • Effective project management - Lead strategic projects from conception to completion.
    • Communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
    Travel:
    • Limited travel required
    Physical Requirements: Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
