**Description**
We are seeking a WAREHOUSE MANAGER to join our team in Addison, Illinois.
Our Warehouse Manager plays an essential role as they are responsible for
organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse
goods. They work closely with Local Dispatch to coordinate the receiving and
transfer of household goods. They are our first and last line of communication
with inbound and outbound drivers, providing the Operations department with
vital details of shipments that may not be known otherwise.

Responsible for supervising the resources and staff of a warehouse to include
the operations of household goods, consolidation and distribution activities;
Develop and implement procedures and/or policies that will improve efficiency,
reduce claims for damage and/or lost goods, and other cost controls relative to
labor rations, and maintenance costs;
Maintain the warehouse locator system using Asset Controls Windfall program
for commercial and residential property;
Ensure coordination of Warehouse activities with activities of other functions
such as Operations, Sales, Record Controls and Purchasing;
Maintain customer satisfaction with our services by acting as a liaison between
customer and company;
Participate in planning and training personnel safety and plan protection
activities including but not limited to, vaulting HHGs, marking of international
shipments, inventory and forklift certifications;
Manage inventory and distribution of commercial and residential goods;
Manage the companys equipment and packing material inventory;
Supervise Warehouse handling and transportation activities;
Use a forklift or Reach truck to load, unload and put away commercial and
residential goods;
Ensure good housekeeping and clean up including the parking lots and
grounds;
