Job Description:
Position Summary: In the position of Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, sound, and economical operations activities at their assigned facility. Provide direct support, supervision, oversight, and operational guidance to all warehouse operations personnel, and assistance as needed in other facility activities as assigned. Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with other members of the Corporate Operations team and other support staff to establish, implement, and achieve operational Company goals, metrics, safety standards, quality control, regulatory compliance, and company profitability. Performance Indicators (KPIs) to obtain cost and service goals
  • Supervise maintenance activities of all machinery and equipment. Manage activities, systems, and work through others to accomplish tasks.
  • Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations, or production goals as well as create production goals
  • Maintain the inventory levels and keep track of damaged goods. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to obtain cost and service goals
  • Ensure smooth execution of various functions, such as receiving, dispatching, stocking, and requisitions
  • Direct communication with customer service, purchasing, and quality control departments
  • Assist in safety programs, safety trainings, run safety meetings weekly, and assist with evaluating forklift operators
  • Confer with supervisors and other personnel, exchange information to resolve problems. Back up supervisors for other departments as needed
  • Assist in the Recruitment and training of new associates. Develop others and become actively engaged in identifying opportunies and implemenng process improvements to ensure efficient funconing of the warehouse
  • Managing hourly employee recruitment, discipline and compliance of company policies in collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners. Process timecards for production associates
Position Requirements:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Operations Management, Logistics, or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in logistics
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency Microsoft office. Expertise in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Preferred Certifications: OSHA Forklift Certification
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
