Warehouse Manager
Job description:
LHH is partnered with a great manufacturing company located in the Hickory, NC area, this team is seeking a Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control
- Manage 13 direct employees, communicate and work with other departments to ensure warehouse efficiencies.
- Ensure accurate and timely outbound shipments to customers
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance and productivity.
- Monitor warehouse operations and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, customer service and the lab, to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (Shipment Builder, and Epicor Prophet 21) to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
- Manage relationships with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective services.
- High Expectation in customer service
- Be driven and willing to work hands on
- Forklift experience
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
- Experience in using warehouse ERP systems and other software.
- Competent in Excel and Word
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
