    Bethesda Systems is a locally owned and operated Custom Integration company based in Bethesda, MD. We specialize in A/V, lighting, shades and electrical projects. We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, and organized person with great attention to detail to join the Bethesda Systems team.

    Reports to: Internal Operations Manager

    Position Overview:

    The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all receiving and warehouse management. They will report directly to the Internal Operations Manager and work closely with the Procurement Manager and Project Managers to determine what needs to be ordered at certain stages of projects.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager and Project Managers to determine job-specific needs.
  • Receive all products that have been ordered and shipped through various couriers.
  • Maintain the warehouse's cleanliness and product placement.
  • Utilize iPoint to track, ship, and receive products (training will be provided).
  • Maintain vendor relationships through effective communication and handling shipment disputes.
  • Manage UTour (a special client) product and shipping.
  • Ensure all products are ready for the next day on the day prior.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment for both warehouses and the conference room.
  • Forecast product needs by looking at upcoming projects on a 10-business day cycle.
  • Stage items for existing projects and ensure allocated inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate recycling needs for faulty equipment and recyclables.
  • Communicate with personnel to determine needs for project stages.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels for quick turn-around projects.
  • Ensure the product pick list is completed post-purchasing and pre-deployment.
  • Manage shipping and tracking of UTour product packages.
  • Verify received shipments against POs for accuracy.
  • Report daily to Internal Operations Manager and Procurement Manager on deliveries received.
  • Monitor shipping times on open POs and update departments on delivery dates/backorders/delays.
  • Complete quarterly and year-end inventory stock counts.
  • Work directly with Procurement, Design, Sales, and Scheduling departments to ensure timely ordering and receiving of products.
  • Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse/operations positions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Capacity to handle pressure.
  • Ability to work on your feet 40-50% of the day.
  • Capability to lift up to 100-pound items as needed.
  • Prior knowledge or ability to quickly learn operations of phone systems, Slack, Windows Office Suite, and iPoint/additional software (training will be provided).
