The Warehouse Manager at Give Home Medical Equipment will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers involved in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping home medical equipment (HME) and durable medical equipment (DME). This role includes planning and optimizing warehouse layout, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of products. The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse operations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards and will play a key role in hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff to meet operational goals. #PIQ Responsibilities

    • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing HME/DME products such as wound care items, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, and ambulatory aids.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor procedures for inventory control, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
    • Supervise, hire, train, and manage warehouse staff, including Warehouse Technicians, to ensure smooth operations.
    • Ensure that warehouse operations align with supply chain strategies and objectives, collaborating with other teams as necessary.
    • Maintain and improve warehouse storage systems, including racking, pallet storage, and picking/packing areas, to optimize space and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor and enforce safety standards, including the use of appropriate handling and storage methods for medical equipment.
    • Prepare and manage warehouse reports, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and warehouse productivity metrics.
    • Collaborate with the logistics and customer service teams to meet delivery timelines and service level expectations.
    • Position may involve exposure to hazardous chemicals, blood, or other potentially infectious materials. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with a strong focus on supply chain management.
    • Experience with home medical equipment (HME) and durable medical equipment (DME) is preferred.
    • Forklift certified.
    • OSHA certified.
    • Proven leadership experience, including hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff.
    • Strong organizational and operational skills, with a focus on optimizing warehouse layouts and inventory systems.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for handling medical equipment.
    • Proficiency with warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.
    • Ability to collaborate across departments to support business goals.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
    • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds and work in a warehouse environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
