Description Position Details: Title: Warehouse Manager Location: Houston, TX Shift: M-F Day Compensation: $85-100K; + 10% bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Position Description: Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, operations, and staff to ensue conformance to established procedures; implement practices that maximize production efforts to improve the overall effectiveness and financial performance of the production function. Manage all warehouse activities in support of manufacturing operations including; receiving, storing, picking, shipping and cycle counting all inventory. Review, analyze, modify and implement efficient and effective policies and procedures. Maintain strict inventory control and address root causes to prevent recurrence. Establish and maintain professional communication with procurement and production groups. Develop, implement, and monitor department budget. Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and develop warehouse staff. Directly supervise Warehouse Supervisor and indirectly the Shipping and Receiving Clerks. Assign duties and monitor quality of work while providing day-to-day guidance and oversight. Stay up to date on overall activities of the team, identify problem areas and take corrective actions. Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward/discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or combination of applicable experience and education. 5 years' experience within a Production environment or related field/positions. Excellent written/oral communication along with strong computer skills.
