Oversees a team responsible to ensure that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures and in a timely manner. Controls warehouse and distribution activities to ensure efficient use of business resources, including budget, facilities, manpower, tools, equipment, etc. Plans for complex delivery schedules that involve large number of customers and suppliers. Recommends improvements to processes to promote time and cost efficiency. Directs and supervises warehouse staff. Reviews effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment. Responsible for approximately 16 direct reports and a 180,000 square foot facility.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all activities and personnel as they relate to warehouse operations.Manage and/or supervise other projects as directed by the VP/GM.Responsible for developing current/new Warehouse associates.Establish and maintain open lines of communication with all corporate associates, Product Line personnel, and distribution associates.Continuous review, evaluation, and audit of operational procedures and performance KPIs with the purpose of identifying areas for improvement or developing potential cost saving projects.Build upon Organizational Goals monthly and ensure adherence to established KPIs.Responsible for onsite ITW Corporate Capex projects related to the property and building.Proactively identify and implement corrective actions as needed.Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments and product lines to improve operation results.Work with accounting to perform annual physical inventory and ongoing cycle count.Conduct safety meetings and training to ensure all employees are safe and support compliance.Recruit and retain top-tier talent and manage the full performance management cycle.Demonstrate hands-on leadership and drive accountability through performance feedback.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent experience, with 10 years of relevant warehouse/logistics experience.5 years' experience in a Distribution Center/Fulfillment Center environment with management of direct reports.Managing the inventory control process.Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.Ability to act as a change agent and be proactive in recommending/implementing changes to improve overall warehouse operations.Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.Must be process oriented with good judgement and decision-making abilities.Operate forklift.Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.Preferred ExperienceBachelor's Degree.Supply Chain certification a plus.ERP implementation and functional capacity knowledge.Proficient in Microsoft D365 applications.Certifications a plus:APICS (Certified Supply Chain Professionals).CSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professionals).CPIM (Certified production and inventory management).SCPro Certification.Additional InformationITW is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
